Papaya is supposed to be good for digestion and a little pineapple is low FODMAP, which makes this tropical treat WIN WIN. Amounts below can be varied based on taste and tolerance to foods.
In blender or bullet liquify:
– Small amount of crushed ice
– 1/4 to 1/2 cup sliced papaya
– A few of the papaya seeds
– 1/2 scoop vegan protein powder (optional and without additives or illegal foods)
– 1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
– 2-3 thin slices of fresh ginger
– 1/2 cup almond milk (optional but you could use low FODMAP juice or cold water)
– 1/2 cup cold apple cider vinegar elixir (see recipe page)
– 1/4 ripe banana (optional for texture and sweetness)
I also might throw a few fresh blueberries in there if they are in season…
